Like new T/C Hawken Flintlock
Rare Green Mountain .54cal / .28ga Smoothbore barrel
15/16" x 32" length + breech plug = 33" overall
Bore is like a mirror / like factory new
GM's adjustable rear & post bead front sights
Like new redesigned / improved TC Flintlock assembly
Leather hammer stall
Very attractive walnut stock, only a couple tiny handling marks
Solid brass custom ramrod from October Country / Drilled & tapped 10/32" each end

Excellent with shot loads of #5s-#6s for squirrels/rabbits/turkey, #7.5s for doves, #8s-#9s for skeet targets...and it shoots PRBs like a rifle to the 50yards I zeroed it.  Sighted it in with a PRB deer load as a back up gun and ...and it's mainly laid oiled in its case for years / used very little.

$550 for all the above, including the excellent quality gun case shown.
01/26/11  -  PRICE REDUCED TO $500...

I'd be interested if you get it down to $400.  I don't want to insult you, but things are tough at the moment and that is all I can give.,

roundball

No insult taken...things are tough for sure...Wife of 44 years and I are getting ready for retirement and taking stock / paring down things we have to admit we no longer use so there's no hurry to sell it...it'll eventually move as prices will only keep going up and $500 for a like new Hawken at todays prices...with the special barrel and high quality case is not out of line...thanks anyway

Red Badger

I want it!  but can't afford it... sniff.....  I am sure it will go to a good home.....

Note...since time is not a pressing issue on this, I have no problem holding it for 2-3 installments...the only thing we'd have to agree on would be that if I took it off the market for a $200 down payment for example, then a month or so later the buyer changed their mind, the previous installments would not be refundable...just an incentive to finish the transaction as I would have lost potential sales over all the time it was off the market being held for someone.

Rev Buck

That's more than fair and mighty tempting.  It's a beautiful piece, specially for us Hawken fans.

Red Badger

That is very fair and if I had a regular income allowing me to do it the money would be on its way... but alas with the way things are looking I need to concentrate on feeding Di and myself, and paying the pesky bills that show up each month weather i have money or not...

If you're fixin to replace Patience, you can send her here. I guess I could force myself to adopt her and give her a home.  ;D
