Actually , they are not all new but new to me.  I got a box of parts back in the spring  and have been working to get them together.  One is a FIE Kentucky 45cal. One is a Jukar 45 Cal. Colonial pistol and the last one is a 45cal Maxwell I think they called it an American pistol.  I bought them for the Kentucky pistol.  I didn't do anything to it but put it together correct somebody's mistakes but it turned out ok.   The Colonial pistol I carved on the stock to fancy it up a little.  The Maxwell I don't have all the parts to finish it.  I need a trigger, trigger guard, and pin to hold the barrel.  I put some bone inlays in it to fancy it up.  I shot the Kentucky this afternoon it shot alright.  I have got to work on the trigger pull.  None of them are high dollar shooters but they'll make good plinking guns.  I'll probably keep the Kentucky and move on the other two.

I like the inlays and the carving. For some reason I absolutely do not posses the talent for carving or fitting inlays, so I am in awe of those who can.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

Had one of those Kentuck pistolas.  Awfull triger pull..  Welded extention on top of trigger and moved pivet pin up to new location.  Longer pull, but smooth and easy... Nice to grab a box of parts and make something of them.
