Thank you for the welcome.  I'm just getting back into rendezvous after an 18 year hiatus. I just bought some parts off ebay and am in the process of building a .50 flintlock for this year's rendezvous season.  Nothing fancy.  I've missed the smell of black powder, and of course, the flash and boom.
