I am going to go to woolarock for a day just to check it out.... If i like what i see I just might set up the camp.... I think they want traders more than re-enactors and my trading stock is real low right now...

When is Dripping Springs?

Bo: Dress code is fairly loose but you do have to look as if your trying to comply with pre 1840.
My intentions are to be there for the complete thing, but intentions do get over ridden at times.
By the way if your going to camp there is an early set up date.

You all know, you could come up to the Grouse Creek Rendezvous.  We aren't as large as Woolaroc, but we are wayyyyyyy coooolllll!

Then in April, you could come to the museum's encampment.  It is the first weekend of April, Cherokee Strip Museum, Arkansas City, KS.  We do demos for the public and teach them about the fur trade.  Its tons of fun!

Red Badger

Need to talk to you about that - would a Tanning demo be to much for the public?

I think it would be neat!  People would probably interested in it, because most would have no idea how leather is tanned.

Red Badger

Will work out something - put me down for tanning as my instruction item....
