2f vs. 3f

It's been pretty humid around these parts lately, at times including rain, and I've been to the range several times dodging the drops using my usual loads of 2f but can't remember ever swabbing out so much fouling.  Is there that great of a difference between 2f & 3f as far as the amount of fouling left behind or is this just the weather?
Inquiring minds want to know what your experience has been like.... [hmm]

My experience has been that 2F always leaves more fouling than 3F just to begin with...add in high humidity and it would seem even worse...even using 3F all the time as I normally do, when the months of humidity hit here in North Caroilina, the fouling is bad...pan turns to soups by the time I'm ready to prime again, etc.

The good news is it gets so wet and soft immediately after a shot that I don't have to wipe between shots...run a 50 shot range session and every time the next PRB is seated it wipes the bore walls clean from the previous shot

Been my expereince that the more humid it is the more they foul.

If you shoot big flinters, like muskets and trade guns, try 3F in the pan. It works better than 4F and on damp days it seems to hold up better. Drop your charge in the bore by at least 10 grains if switching from 2F to 3F and stay away from 3F in shotguns. Too much will blow your pattern  ;D

I shoot 50 and 54 caplocks and I just picked up some 3f today to see if I can tell the difference, I'll let ya'll know if I see any.

I shoot 3f in everything drop all your loads down 10 grains i have very little fowling i use track of the wolf bore cleaner and patch lube when i am target shooting and i can shoot all day and not clean
