Where did you get it or what did you make it out of?  Are you going to rendezvous, go trekking, period correct hunting or all three?  I've got to live vicariously through my friends, help me out here- ;D

these pics are taken when i was goin out hunting. same thing i wear when im campin or just showin off. my huntin shirt is linen. breachcloat and leather leggins. ligonier style moccs. felt hat and silk neck scarf. my smoothbore jacob, a 62 cal left hand trade piece stocked in walnut. shootin bag beavertail, and powder horn i made. most everything i made or my mom made.

Excellent set-up, it all looks comfortable and I've always wanted to try a smoothbore built for us correct handed folks.. strpot

Glad to hear that!  Sometimes we just have to treat ourselves to something nice once in a while.  Your mom has done some nice tailoring too

ill pass along the complement. she is a fine hand with a needle. learned from her grandmom who wouldnt tolerate less than perfect stitches. if crooked or the stitches to big or ugly she'd cut em n make her redo. a rare quality now.

I had 3 great aunts that would get together with my grandmother and her mother in law for a quilting bee.  Nothing fancy but everything was hand stitched, made from left over material.  They saved everything, even the smallest scrap of fabric as they had all survived thew Great Depression.  I was too young at the time to really appreciate what they were doing or understand why.

      ROFL ROFL   Just yesterday, thinking I could get my friends son into traditional rifles, I showed him the Mongrel Jaeger and he shoulldered it  hdslp lefty.   pnic  To get him into this sport, I will have to invest in a Backwards rifle.  slap   And here I thought I would pass my rifle onto Him.    noway noway noway noway
