Just my opinion, but it looks cool except for that long strip missing on one side of the front flap.  If you like the bag then yes...................but I'mno judge of leather work

Doug

The bag is probably worth the money but go to the "view my other auctions" section and look at the sixth item down the dark colored bag.  At this time it is half the price of the first bag looks to be made of better leather and comes with all the extras in the picture.  The flap on the first bag is not missing anything, rather it is what some refer to as a free style bag with the flap left the same shape as it came off the hide.
just my opinion:   Doug

You're right Doug.  I guess I'll have to put in a bid and see what happens.  I usually lose auctions since I figure out how much I would be willing to spend and put that down and resist the temptation to jump it when someone goes higher.  I then figure I was just not meant to have it and look for something else.

Doug

I don't bid on e-bay anymore, too much frusteration.  As soon as I find something that I need or really want someone else gets it.

Doug

Another idea is not to place your maximum bid just bid enough to cover the present bid then at the end of the auction submit your maximum bid.  You may catch the other guy by surprise and steel it away from him.

Not a bad looking bag, But I'd make those things all day long for 50 bucks a pop! I'm not trying to put dowwn the seller either, it is a very nice bag.

I think you would be better off to pass on this one though.

I put a bid down on the one leather bag and now someone who has never bought or sold anything outbid me.  Well, I'm not staying up until 1 AM to try to snipe him.  He can have it.   ;D  Wife is a whiz with a sewing machine.  She even has a computerized embroidery system as well.  I'll get her to make me something with canvas and embroider something on it.  All I need is a pattern to give her or at least some dimensions.

Hey Vet, try these measurements, 8x9 for a finished size. Put any type flap on it you like. Leave ΒΌ" for seam allowance.
