Yeah, I know - I'm anal  (though I'd rather you pronounce it "meticulous"    ;D  )

I use $5 eleven-inch canvas tool bags from Harbor Freight for range bags - have one for each gun.

All I have to do is grab a can of powder, the gun, the bag, and a stack of targets and head for the range.

Here's my set up.

So, what do you use?         [hmm]

Here is what I use, cept now the horn and bag are one setup, so its just grab an go for me also

I picked up a "like new" plastic tool box at the Salvation Army Store.  It holds everything I need to keep shooting.  I do carry powder horn, patches and balls in a separate green canvas..."thingy".  There's room for all that in the tool box but I carry a towel & a couple of other unnecessary things in there instead.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

QuoteA new meaning to" MAN BAG".

Heck Bulldog Lady, it started off as a very manly tool bag.  It's not like I'm using one of my wife's old purses.   ;D

(But I do have my eyes on one of her brown leather ones with a nice long wide shoulder strap.  Dang, I wish she would get tired of that thing.)

ROFL  I have seen quite a few Range bag's made out of an old handbag!  they are great for new fangled guns or us BP shooters....

I started out with one of these bags as well.  It worked well as long as I took only one gun or maybe two to the range or woods.  As I began to take as many as three or four guns out to the woods with Dennis, I found it was not enough.  Many types and sizes of tool bags are available.  Finally found a better bag at Harbor Freight.  It is a white heavy canvas bag that was called, if I remember right, as a sail riggers bag.  Looks much like a canvas bag to carry concret tools in.  It is open on top with about twenty out side pockets and ony one inside compartment....all open...no zippers and plenty of room.  Recently had to buy a second bag to hold all my shooting junk cause I can use one for the larger cal. and one for the smaller cal. guns.  If I remember right was only around ten dollers.

It must be this one bull frog.  One of the guys on the ModernMuzzleloader.com forum posted this picture.  He said he got it from Harbor Freight.

I use a big fishing tackle box for the "little of everything including shotgun stuff holder", have a couple of smaller tackle boxes for hunting gear and the old "not really correct" leather shooting bag I bought from Dixie Gun Works about 35 years ago that I take to shooting matches and rondys. All I do with the bag is remove any incorrect balls for the gun I will shoot and put the right ones in and I am ready to go. If the gun is one that likes lubed patches I put in the appropriate lube, otherwise I will use spit and be ready to start shooting.

At first glance I thought it was the same one, but at a closer look it is not.  It is very close though.  The main difference  is the pockets on the ends.  The one you show looks to have a large pocket on each end, mine has three smaller ones one each end.  It is a very good heavy duty bag and well worth the money I paid for it.  That is why I bought a second bag.  If I am hunting or just out shooting one gun, I carry only my hunting bag.
