if you are going to sell this to someone as an outfit, through the mail, i will advise that you ship the conversion cylinder seperately from the pistol! otherwise the authorities may possibly prosecute you for shipping a handgun in the mail! i know it sucks, but the federal critters are looking at anything they can do to create the next big news story! im not naggin, im just looking out for you! i have worked in several gun shops, and firearms has been my main hobby since i was 5! and part of that hobby includes study of the legal aspects of it! as much bs as it is that you cant ship it in one box at the same time/day it will be a bit more peace of mind to know that the unjust powers that be, wont have anything to try to bust you on, if you do it right! i hope my advise has helped, and is not mistaken for just some blah blah knowit all stuff!

That is some good information to know. I was adviced by the Post Master
here to disassemble any C&B revolver before shipping, that way if it was xrayed there would be less chance of it being delayed

[hmm] I wonder if one could completely dis-mantle and ship parts separately, if it would pass customs, any one know?

I do not know if you could or not, Can you order kits and have them shipped in to you? If you can, I do not see as it would be problem, If you can't order kits them I would not try it.
Just the way I see things

old salt, Yeah, I'm aware of BATF rules, I'm shipping in 2 boxes, should have put that in the post. Thanks for lookin' out for me!!

NAULTRICK1, don't know if it was absolutely on the up and up, but I bought a Mowery rifle from one of your countrymen a couple of years ago and he labled it as an antique and it went through no problem. I would imagine in pieces, they might flag the receiver.
