sorry so long in addin my 2 cents worth,  12 days out of 18 a rondying is hard on des here old bones.  We had a great time and wish all of you would consider commin up this fall.  You can come in a week in advance and set up. It is a beautiful spot, showers should be finished by then, the museum is super and one day won't cover it if you are really into history.  The wild life is there, the pond and creek are for admiring or guess ya could go a skinny dippin in the moonlight if'n ya was a mind to afore everyone got there.  :mini-devil-28492:  They furnish firewood and will tote your water jugs and fill and return them and have ice for sale.  All horse drawn around of course.  They have super grand prizes for those who participate in addition to the blanket prizes everyone puts down.  Just a great place to get away and relax, meet new folks and have a good time.  Will get the Red Badger to post some pics.

was a small Rendezvous (for Wollaroc)only about 75 to 100 camps, the fall one is bigger about 200 to 300 camps.

The only bad time was when the storm was approaching the area and they herded us all into the basement of the event center for 3 1/2 hours... I lost a contact lens getting to the event center and had to be lead around.  The kids took it all in stride but one or two adults needed some reminders about behavior...  then we went back to camp expecting a shambles and found out the wind never got over 35 mph in the valley.  The storm split and went around us...  The spirits were watching over us as Ponca City, and Pawhuska, OK had 90 + mph winds from that storm Pawhuska is only about 35 miles from the camp area (as the crow flies).

one of several white deer they have, don't think it is an albino though, I think it is some asian species that have a white coat, never got close enough to see if it had the red eyes
