hi. . . .well I just wanted to say that yesterday was alot of fun and I hope I get to go shooting again sometime soon. and I think it's a pretty cool idea to try to get the newer generations into it if possible, cause so far all my friends are jealous of me.    ;D
but yeah shooting is lots of fun and I hope more and more people can start to enjoy it too.  :D

I love to see the younger generation involved in the shooting sports and especially b/p shooting
My grand daughter LuLu is shooting in the 4H with 22's and air rifles and she has borrowed my Handi rifle 243

Anyone who would choose NOT to take a kid shooting, if the kid wants to go and hasn't done anything to deserve being excluded -- is saying, loud and clear, "I couldn't care less if another person ever gets to shoot, once I'm gone."

They're the future, and how we teach and the example we set for them may determine far, far more of what that future will be -- than we will ever know.

When I teach rugrats to shoot, after I get them good and hooked, I break the sad news: there are many people in this country and around the world who will take all this away from you, if you let them. And I make sure to keep them involved and interested enough that that fact continues to very righteously piss them off.

Karwelis, get that young lady her own login... kids need knowledge too, heck she probably knows more than me!

It would be a good idea in the future to remove the powder horn when shooting a BP gun especially a flintlock.

Ranger
