Jukar .45 caliber flint rifle

What we have here is a Jukar .45 caliber fullstock flinter with a better-than-average exterior and a fair bore. The stock has no significant dings, dents, scratches, or other flaws other than too much wood for a proper wood-to-metal fit -- other than in the lefthand corner of the buttplate, where a bit too much is missing. Overall very nice, with a better match than usual of the wood of the forend and rear stock portions.

However, the bore of the barrel is fair at best. The rifling is strong and I think the barrel will deliver at least adequate and possibly very good accuracy, but the grooves have a lot of pitting in them -- nothing horribly deep, but a LOT of it. If someone buys the gun thinking it's probably just fine, I will NOT accept a return on it when it is discovered that it's exactly as I describe. The price reflects the balance of the exterior and bore condition, and the gun is being sold very firmly as-is.

This gun is listed on GunBroker with an opening bid price of $140 plus $25 shipping. I'll let it go to forum members for $155, shipped to your door.

 Hey i'll bet it will shoot great too and can't wait to try it out. I've had a few flinters but...never shot them.(i know i know). This will be the first one since i shot a buddys gun in about 1988. Look forward to trying it out,  am picking up some flints and some 4f today right after the check hits the mail. :)
