Need ideas for horn strap

Wow, those are some nice looking straps.
Did you scrim the horn also. It's awesome.
By the way, welcome. Hope we can pick your brain a bit. Looks like you have lots of talent, just like the rest of this group.

No, I didn't make the horn or scrim it; It was made for me by a good friend and shooting buddy. I'm just starting to get into that now, hope some day to do maybe come close to his quality of workmanship. I have six of his horns, four regular and two priming.

Go to this site.  They have great hand woven items. I have a friend who has alot of their stuff and it is great.  To make it look old, soak it in black walnut hull dye and then rub some bacon grease in some places.  Makes it look old and sweated on.
