What is everyone using for stoves?

Compare Summit's Valley Stove against Four Dog's Three Dog model.

I use a one pole 12' x 12' Tent from Panther already with stove jack.

What are your suggestions?

I have two tents that I use a rendezvous 1 is the a 12X12 one pole and the
stove I use in it is from cablea's called a packer stove. It is 8.5 in by 10in
by 23in and has fold up legs and if you get the tapered pipe it will fit in side
the fire box. I have spent a week in that tent with the night time temp at 0

Let me add my two cents worth,

the stove OL Salt uses kept us nice and toasty 2 weekends ago and was nice and compact.  I'm gonna look for one when I get around to getting my own camp set up... I like the way it packed and was easy to clean out whn we needed to leave...

When I do use a stove, I go with my old cast iron box or trapper stove. Not sure which it is actually called , but by sealing the top with stove sealer and placing a baffle at the back of it just in front of the smoke outlet, and another hinged one in the front by the door, I have been able to get better heat out of it than any other I have seen. The baffles make a heat sink and make the heat stay in the top of it where the burners are and the stove sealer keeps the smoke from escaping into the tent.

I have two canvas wall tents, a 12x15 and a 12x12. I have two Cylinder Stoves that I use in these tents and they are excellent stoves.  They are heavy duty and I use them during deer season here in ND in mid-November.  We can get well below zero during deer season and these stoves hold a goodly amount of wood and they hold heat well.  They are excellent stoves.  I believe Cabelas sells them or you can google Cylinder Stoves as they have a web site.
