Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

Thanks for the warm welcome, one and all! I am not a novice and far from being an expert. I have been muzzleloading for 30+ years. I still have my first muzzleloader, a CVA Mountain Rifle in .50 cal. percussion. I also have a .50 Traditions Trapper pistol, .32 Traditions Squirrel Rifle, .44 Uberti Remington, Ruger Old Army,TVM .50 flintlock and a parts gun I am building in .62 smoothbore flintlock. The TVM is the one that gets most of the range time.
I am a member of the NMLRA and go to the spring and fall rendezvous in Friendship most every year. I don't shoot all the time but when I do, I shoot the woods walk. I am really wanting to try the silhouette matches but haven't gotten around to it.  chrrs
