I thought you saw mine before. It's one of Matts Late Lancaster guns in .45 with a 36 inch barrel. If not, I'll post up some pictures and bring it to Lapeer for a closer look for you.

What is the weight?
If you're asking me about the .58cal Early Virginia I just posted, it weighs 9.5lbs.....and with the swamped barrel it "feels like" it weighs about 6 pounds its so well balanced

Dryball

It is a beautiful gun...wish I could afford one similar.

Well, I don't 'have money'...I spent 18 years...repeat, 18 years...of gradually picking up used $200 T/C Hawkens, refinishing them, horsetrading this and that, hunted with them, etc...then last year I sold several of them to finance the Virginia

Hanshi

My TVM (Matt Avance) late Lancaster.  13/16" x 36" x .45.  this was my "turning point" rifle and is my dedicated deer rifle-though it has taken squirrels.  GS mounted & no patchbox, LOP 13".  Weight about 7lbs or a little less.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I have several pictures of my TVM Early Lancaster,"Patience", Matt built for me on the site.  I'll try and get some more posted later....
